Our products showcase hand-drawn illustrations and are Hand-Made by small businesses here in New England & the US. All products are Made with the Planet in Mind by using sustainable materials, sweatshop-free factories, and partnering with small businesses to create and print our products.
We wanted to go a step further in doing our part, we are proudly 1% for the Planet members! What does that mean? We donate 1% to environmental projects here in the USA.

Hi! I’m Alyssa and I draw the natural world for people who want to bring the feeling of that little, hidden mushroom into the place that they call home. As an artist and an environmentalist, I am passionate about supporting and protecting the health and diversity of our world’s ecosystems.
I spend my days learning about our landscapes and the communities that exist inside of them (to some might say an obsessive level), because I love the beauty and magic I can find there.
And I want to share it with you.

Are the cards frameable?
Yes, many customers frame their cards! We use high quality Acid-free paper to prevent yellowing of the cards.

How are your products sustainable?
We love this question!
Let's discuss cards, the designs are printed on sustainably harvested paper, meaning the forests are sustainably managed for harvesting, then the wood pulp is turned into paper using no bleach, no color, and is acid-free. The paper is then sent to our small letterpress studio partner in MA to be printed sustainably and made into cards.
Letterpress printing is an old printing method where a machine presses the design into the paper creating an imprint of the design into the paper. This process is more sustainable than digital printing because it uses less ink and it allows us to choose the type of ink to ensure there is significantly less plastic packaging and the ink is made in a sustainable way that is safe for our friend's printing.
The envelopes are made out of 100% recycled content and can be recycled afterwards. Lastly, you can request a paper sleeve instead of a plastic sleeve for your order. Soon we will have clasps to secure the card + envelope to reduce our paper sleeves and replace our plastic sleeves.

How are you supporting the environment? Do you participate in advocacy or donate money?
YES! Advocacy is one of the three pillars of Drawn to Ecology, Education, Sustainability, and Advocacy. We participate in advocacy events from climate marches to trail clean-ups but we also donate money to several different environmental + social causes:
- 1% of the Planet member (Our Outdorker Community will decide the environmental project we donate to for 2020)
- Donated 4% to Public Lands in 2019
- Donate to Suicide Prevention
We are excited to organize clean up events in New England communities in 2021 when we can all get together again.
